Rooms at the Lodge
Limited lodging is available at Heart of Texas Bowhunting headquarters for $80 per night on a first-come, first-served basis.
The lodging consists of four rooms connected by a common lodge. Each room has:
- 4 bunks
- Kitchenette
- Shower
Linens, towels and similar items are not provided.
Cabins on the Ranch
Two 40-foot sea containers have been converted into cabins for $100 per night on a first-come, first-served basis. The cabins are located in the heart of the primary hunting ranch.
Each cabin includes:
- 2 bedrooms
- 2 bunks in each bedroom
- Full kitchen
- Bathroom
Linens, towels and similar items are not provided.
Bunk Bags
Heart of Texas Bowhunting offers optional Bunk Bags for $25 per stay.
Each Bunk Bag includes:
- Pillow
- Sheets
- Comforter
- Bath towel
- Hand towel
- Washcloth
Nearby Lodging
Additional lodging is available at the hunter's expense in Melvin, Brady, Eden and other surrounding communities.
Heart of Texas Bowhunting headquarters is in Melvin, approximately 15 miles west of Brady and about 5–10 miles from the hunting areas.
Food & Cooking
Food is not provided. Heart of Texas Bowhunting has multiple charcoal grills and a gas grill available for hunter use.
Jacoby's Café is about five minutes from headquarters and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday. Multiple restaurants are also available in Brady, about 20 minutes from headquarters.
Cabins
